It's taken me about 4 years, but I've nearly released an entire trilogy at once!

All 3 books are going live in a few days - March 1st - with a universal link to the first one below:

(I've yet to release a whole trilogy at once, so I'm curious as to whether that will be a plus - the "no waiting between books" aspect is a real drawcard for me, as a reader)

FREE until 29th January

Some things can only be learned from red-faced experience, like forgetting to switch off your lapel mike when visiting the restroom.

In this practical guide to public speaking experienced speakers share their anecdotes and tips on what to do, what not to do - and what can go hilariously wrong!

The ability to speak [confidently] in public is probably the most rewarding skill you will ever learn. It will not only improve your career prospects, but will also boost your self-confidence at social functions.

If you’ve ever:

  • Felt nervous about a career promotion because it involved public speaking.
Been afraid to speak up in meetings, even when you have something valid to say.
Turned down an invitation to speak at your garden club or similar occasions.
Stepped up to the mike, only to choke horribly in the attempt.
Felt intimidated by the thought of proposing a simple toast, or introducing and thanking a speaker.

You’ll learn how to conquer these fears in this step-by-step guide that takes you through all aspects of public speaking giving practical examples of what to do; what not to do – and what can go hilariously wrong!

I just hit a new milestone:

5 MILLION SF&F published words, from 69 novels, and 11 shorter books, so 80 in total.

You're a machine.

TV/Movie Talk [Public] / Re: What TV series are you watching right now?

It's probably already been mentioned in this thread somewhere, but I highly recommend the Appletv+ series, 'Severance'.

I'm hooked, and quite excited for S2, which is apparently coming out this year. Once you see the entire first season, what it pulls off storytelling-wise is pretty fantastic.

I don't think I'd rate it as highly as what is - to me - the greatest opening season to a television show ever in HBO's 'True Detective', but I'll tell you what - it's up there. Highly recommended.

Just finished up Bodies on Netflix, a crime/mystery/time travel mind bender. It kept my interest, was worth the watch. Not sure how closely it mirrors the graphic novel, so putting that on my read list for comparison.
