The following are topic areas which are the equivalent of walking into a minefield on this forum.
Said mines can react in a number of ways, including turning the post into a zombie (cut from the thread and cast into zombieland without a title), moving the entire thread into private opt-in space, locking of the thread, being met with the forum equivalent of friendly stoning, or turning the post into the current forum football.
Beware social media hype. Repeating here will be met with reality, and you may not like the result.
Topics include, but are not restricted to:
Rapid Release = bad quality book. [Simply not true, and often just Trad propaganda.]
Rapid Release = one sign of being a scammer. [Not true. The fact some scammers rapid release is co-incidental. There are plenty of genuine authors who rapid release, and the fact they do should never be used to speculate they are doing something wrong.]
Making statements of fact, without supporting evidence, which are in fact personal opinions. [We are writers. Be specific about what you're saying, and where it comes from.]
Bringing an argument here from another forum because it was shut down there. [Just don't. Anything discussed somewhere else can be reported here, and discussed here, but not if you're just moving an argument in order for it to continue where it left off.]
Hijacking a thread for the purpose of stopping the discussion of the original topic. [Not tolerated here. Threads will be split, hijacks will be moved.]
