The Indie Crime Scene thread
« on: September 23, 2018, 10:07:35 AM »
Some of you who know me from the other board may remember that I run a promo blog called the Indie Crime Scene.

So what is the Indie Crime Scene? The Indie Crime Scene is a blog for all things mystery, crime fiction, thriller, adventure, suspense and noir fiction. We feature new mystery, crime fiction and thriller releases (and all their subgenres) by indie and small press writers, we have interviews with crime, mystery and thriller writers, we host guest posts, we have a weekly link round-up and a monthly new release round-up.

Interested? Our submission info is here.

Meanwhile, here is a look at some of our recent posts:

The last post was our popular weekly link round-up, which is posted every Saturday. Topics this week include Bodyguard, Iron Fist, Killing Eve, The Deuce, a new James Bond director, the Bloody Scotland festival, the disintegration of KBoards and much more.

Other recent posts were new release spotlights for Phyllis Wong and the Waking of the Wizard, a mystery for young readers by Geoffrey McSkimming and Cold Open, a cozy mystery by Patricia McLinn as well as an interview with Lance Schukies, author of My Criminal Career. The interviews are handled by Dennis Chekalov, who has found his way over here.

Hi, Cora. You guys just gave me a blurb for "Three Days" @ SFS, plus allowed me to do a guest blog post (thanks for both!).

I just got another BookBub promo yesterday, this time for "Enforcer" which is a crime fic / thriller. Is there any issue with me submitting for this on the Indie Crime Scene site? I ask because no one likes someone hogging all the space.

BBub promo starts Oct 26th, if that helps. Thanks!
