Alliance of Independent Authors & Ingram Benefit
« on: April 10, 2025, 12:28:32 AM »
For those who are members of Alliance of Independent Authors, do you know if there is still a discount given for Ingram formatting? And how many books are allowed with that discount? Without it, Ingram charges $25 per book alteration.

Do we have a thread here on the AIA?

If not, can someone do one? I can't say I've ever looked at them. Or heard anything much about them. Although I may have just forgotten.
Genres: Space Opera/Fantasy/Cyberpunk, with elements of LitRPG and GameLit, with a touch of the Supernatural. Also Spiritual and Games.

April 2025 offer is a code valid for one free revision (interior or cover).

FREE REVISION OFFER
1. We offer free revisions for new title submissions for the first 60 days the book is in production (no code is needed). After a book has been in production for 60+ days, members should use the code to waive one revision fee.
2. Code is valid for one FREE revision (interior or cover).

I can't really tell if that's for just one book or one per book but probably one book?

Are you a member Lynn? I think membership used to give 5 revisions per month. It'd be worth it to me to rejoin ALLI if that's the case. I have to update 26 books on Ingram and membership is $100 vs $600 in Ingram revisions ($25 per book). (I discontinued membership last year only because of cost and because Ingram changed their publishing model to allow free publishing. The membership is  a good service otherwise).

Anyone who is a member, can you let me know if the 5 revision per month rule for Ingram is still available? If it's one book per month, it's not worth it to me.
