I am an indie romance author and have been following independent publishing since 2014. I’m super passionate about this industry. I believe we’re changing fiction for the better and I’m proud to call myself an indie author!
Now I would like to expand my skill set by offering a reliable copyediting and proofreading service at reasonable rates.
For my BA, I majored in English literature at a top-ranked UK university. I went on to gain a postgraduate qualification as a librarian—a profession that requires a high level of attention to detail.
I’ve always been annoyingly pedantic about spelling, grammar and punctuation, as well as being fascinated by the English language in general. I’m familiar with both British and American English.
My rates are as follows:
Proofreading: $0.003 per word
Copyediting: $0.005 per word

$100 - Up to 140,000 words
$75 - Up to 80,000 words
$50 - Up to 50,000 words
I’m offering this rate for all proofreading bookings made in April and May.
I’m happy to read any genre of fiction and aim for a one-week turnaround.
