What message does this send?

What does this tell us - apart from it being a good idea to mark boxes and postal items as books to avoid them being stolen😉?

Hoping they are not school books as schools open here today.🤨

The message it sends is that books have little resell value.  Here in America, there are places where trains are routinely looted, and the tracks are covered with the stuff left behind.





Fun fact: my father commuted to work via I-285 for many years.  He saw all sorts of things spilled on the interstate.  One particularly memorable spill was a truck carrying beehives.  The bees got sucked into the car's vents, so Dad had to pull off on the side of the road and get out of the car until the bees flew out.
