Did I win?
« on: January 03, 2020, 05:19:01 AM »
Just releasing book number 58 today. Think I might be the first in 2020?

I can't get over how much easier it is today than is was ten years ago. It all runs so smoothly, even the print editions. The platforms are so easy that one must stop and think before clicking, at least I do. What am I forgetting? It's always something. At any rate, it used to take most of a day to upload to all the different booksellers, but I just did it in a little over two hours.

On to the next book. Might as well, can't dance.

Very impressive! 58 full-length books in ten years shows a lot of dedication.

Since you posted in Marketing section, I guess the answer depends on your sales figures. But word stats wise, yes, you are one among the leading bunch in the writathon. Do care to toss behind some half-empty water bottles!  :catrun

Congratulations! Quite an oeuvre. I hope writing each and every one brought you great satisfaction. Sales and fame would be nice, too.

So I had a little trouble with D2d. It didn't like my title, so I fixed it and all is well. Next book is about a horrific train wreck - McShane's Bride. Research, research, research. Oh well, it's what my fans want. I took a survey on Facebook to see if they would buy it and got 90% yes and 10% no. Disaster books are not for everyone.

Congratulations, Marti!  58 down and so many to go...  Grin

I've been publishing for ten years now (I've got quite a few books to get to 58, however), and I always wonder what I'm forgetting. Most of the time it's nothing, but hurdles of the past (particularly having to do with paperback cover measurements) keep me on my toes. It's almost as if getting good at publishing prepares us to be bad at it. Ha.

58 books is terrific!  Congratulations!

I agree that it goes so smoothly after you've done a few dozen books.  Unless you change your system and you suddenly have to do everything in a new way, which I've done a few times!  ;)
