I'm not quite sure what you were trying to do there.
There's a YouTube icon here, into which you post the url of the vid. Not sure it works any other way. But that's why I uploaded there. Didn't need ftp to get it there, which isn't set up on this computer.
I've uploaded mp4's for Jan before, but it might have just been the url to the file posted here. Don't remember what I did last time.
The channel is new. I thought about the whole audiobook on YouTube thing, and chose 2 books which don't have audiobooks to go a test with. Took me well into the long one to figure everything out, including how to append files together to make 1 full book, when it's impossible to read a whole book in 1 session.
The result isn't all that good, lots of goofs in it, but it's a good test, and I'll only get better.
But for someone who listens, and the audiobook isn't likely to ever be made, it seems to me like a good alternative. And eventually, one hopes to reach the threshold for monetizing.
In the meantime, the model maker who does my ships for covers has fine with vids as well, and I've uploaded some of them. He did a special one for easter.
