Going round in circles looking for the correct category - categories helps

Trying to update my categories but I can't find the ones I want. I see similar books using these categories but I can't find them 
I want:
Public Speaking & Speech Writing
 Running Meetings & Presentations (Kindle Store)
 Public Speaking Reference

 I click on non-fiction and the only suitable sub categories are self-help and education & reference and they don't show public speaking. I must be doing something wrong.

I have the reading age as 16 - 18+

Would appreciate some advice.

If they're similar books with categories that you can't access, they're likely hidden. You can't choose these. Amazon will pick them later based on your keywords.

If you need to quickly investigate further categories from other similar books, you can use a search engine: https://www.bklnk.com/categories_2022.php
Just type in the ASIN of the similar book and see if you can enter any of these categories for your book.

I tried one book and there were so many categories listed including:
 Kindle Store » Kindle Store » Kindle eBooks » Reference eBooks » Words, Language & Grammar » Public Speaking & Speech Writing 
I will have to study it further tomorrow. Maybe if I use some as keywords it will help. 

I have now scrolled through several books using the link. It has been very helpful in choosing keywords.

Yeah, if you don't see a category you can pick yourself then you have to use keywords to get in that cat. It can be tricky finding the right ones. Do you have Publisher Rocket? If you can, it's a great investment. It's not perfect but it cuts down the manual labor of looking up keywords and categories.

Thanks to this link I was able to get the categories I wanted. I would never have thought to go these routes.

I managed to get the ebook into:
Public Speaking & Speech Writing
Public Speaking Reference
Communication & Social Skills

I had previously searched for my ebook under 'public speaking'. After a lot of scrolling I found it on page 40  (does anyone know how to find what page your book is on without endless scrolling?)
Now, when I search under Public Speaking Reference it's on page 4 
when I search under Public Speaking & Speech Writing it's on page 6
I have scrolled to page 30 under Communication & Social Skills but haven't found it yet. But I haven't got those words in my title or sub title.
I am going to try Running Meetings & Presentations for the print book.
I think the new cover with Public Speaking in both the title and the subtitle has obviously helped.
