"
Leon Chameleon PI and the case of the bottled bat" is the third book in the series. The first two books were published by Gecko Books, but Gecko are no longer in existence.
I'm self-publishing this book and would appreciate feedback from parents and teachers on the storyline, and especially on which scenes they feel will be enhanced by illustrations. It is only 10 000 words,
BLURB
When Pug, the young fruit bat goes missing his parents call on the services of Leon Chameleon, the famed Private Eye of Pigeon Valley. Leon quickly sizes up the situation and realises he needs the help of the animals and birds living in the valley. After persuading them to use their natural skills to search for the young bat they track him down, but they soon discover their problems are only just beginning. The young bat’s life is in danger and time is running out. Can Leon come up with a clever rescue plan before it’s too late?
I workshopped the first books with schoolteachers and their classes, but covid has made this difficult.
Thanks in advance.
