Does anyone else think this was another cyberattack or do we have any other wild theories.

I would not be sad if it stayed down permanently.

It's a useful reminder not to put anything important on that site.

If we figure out who took Farcebook down, maybe we can hire them to destroy Twitter.

Hm. I'll spin a story. :)  After yesterday's interview (someone who worked at Facebook I think, but I'm not up on the news, only a few headlines), a hacker group decided to see what they could find and hacked into Facebook looking for the dirt they could use to blackmail Facebook executives who are worried about the falling stock price and their retirement plans.

I admit, I made a typo when I was making up this completely hypothetical story and misspelled Facebook as Fecebook. I chose not to leave it that way, but I do somewhat regret that decision. :D
Don't rush me.

Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram are down, and Twitter is also giving problems as everyone has turned to it to find out what's going on.  :icon_rolleyes: I wonder if it's just a coincidence about the Facebook whistleblower.

Found out this morning, Google suspended my account for a typo in a redirect URL. It is a no-no to misdirect ADs. Oops.

My guess, Googs took down FB to prevent me from moving my corrected ADs to FB.

Just as I read this, there was someone speculating about that very possibility on BBC news - coincidence or what?

Maybe there was a hidden off switch buried in the code somewhere and now Zuckerberg has to beg the Winklevoss brothers to show him how to fix it.

I have no ill will towards our alien overlords.  I understand they must be covert due to the inherent xenophobia of the human race.

Unfortunately, the truth is getting out:

You didn't find his human disguise convincing, did you?
