Fun fact: I'm not "beefcake," and I've only rarely been leered at or catcalled.  But whenever it happened, I was shirtless at the time.

The only time it ever happened to me was back in the day, when I use to go out cycling wearing my Lycra cycling shorts. Damn, you girls can be naughty sometimes.   :icon_wink:

Just finished overwriting my posts. Not that there were that many of them, but I replaced them with Do Not Consent in Russian. I figure if the place is going to be a bot spot from now on, I might as well use the correct language. Though thinking back on it, I should've used Ukrainian. Let all those single women know how I feel about them. (Why aren't there Lonely Singles ad for handsome Ukrainian men?)

I'm here with the same name and avatar, though I might eventually retire my squiggle in favor of something that isn't my own art. I also have my books back in the sig with my own affiliate tags. Go ahead, click one! I dare you! (Then buy something and thanks for the chump change!  :icon_rofl:)
I clicked on them all, but doesn't it not do anything unless I purchase something?
Yeah, you need to buy something really expensive!  :icon_biggrin:

Definitely not the same name I was under on KB, though I hadn't posted there in a long time. I did have over 600 posts at one point. Taking this as my chance to be a little more anonymous. Glad to have somewhere to go because, despite its flaws, KB changed my life.

I just copied my sig over and then had to remove one book cover to get to down to 9. How do I remove affiliate links?

On mine, I went through and removed all the parts that said Kboards.  It was on each book, but after I took it out the signature line still worked.   :smilie_zauber:

Hey! Welcome! And the emojis are growing on me, sort of like a fungus. And this :banana-riding-llama-smiley-em is quite obviously a slug with legs!

No way! Nessie forever! :icon_lol: Thanks for the welcome. :)

Good to see you here, Becca. Lots of familiar faces which is nice.  :smilie_zauber:

No idea what that emoji means...he turns himself into Skittles or something.

I appreciate randomness.

Randomness and Skittles -- both underrated. :)

To all those that think this ->  :banana-riding-llama-smiley-em is a banana riding a slug, where do you live that's causing slugs to become radioactive and glow green and grow mutant legs?

*Exactly*. It's much more likely a relic plesiosaur.

That said, this is our state mollusk ...

Plesiosaurs swim.  Bananas don't.  So it's either a green llama or that banana has a silly grin because he's drowning and has lost oxygen to his brain.

Those look yellow.  So green slugs are still radioactive.

I lurked over at the other place for a long time but had recently started posting a bit more, which just means I didn't have as much to delete as many of you. Even though I was mostly a lurker, I'm still glad to see many familiar faces.

Same name, same avatar to which I have no commercial rights, since it's a Pre-Raphaelite painting of Medea.

Even when a contract is clearly unenforceable, I won't sign. Especially when it is inapt and a rights grab, I won't sign. I've walked away with zero regrets from several instances of contracts that were rights grabs, or loyalty oaths, or attempted to control my future actions.

In this situation I have little to lose, since I don't use my real name here and I sign up to websites using an email address that does not connect to my main one. But having little to lose isn't the point.

The emojis are a little...busy.
Lily, you made it. I wasn't sure that you wouldn't just walk away- with like explosions in the background, and you don't even flinch.

I have to respond to this. That person is the person I am in my head.
