682 words today. I have a lots of scenes in my head for this screenplay, no idea what the order is or what it is going to add up to. Just getting them down, one scene at a time. Will move around later when it starts to make sense.

I try to do 2,000 words, and generally I manage, though some days it's more, and some days it's less. I think it's normal for there to be some fluctuation.

Started a new screenplay today. 91 words. I have a ways to go to get back to my 2000+ words a day, but it felt good.

Spammers are getting desperate.  Today I got one basically saying that if you use toilet paper to wipe yourself after a bowel movement, it could be an early warning sign that you may have cancer, diabetes, a weight problem or be at risk for a stroke.  And that is a "medical fact."

This is because animals don't need to wipe themselves after a bowel movement so if you do then something is wrong.

I guess they forgot that, instead of using toilet paper, many animals lick themselves clean.  Or, in the case of dogs, scoot across the carpet.

Animals also don't get spam emails, so they must be doing something right.  ;)

You guys are so funny! Every once in a while I'll open my spam folder, just to see what comes in. I think I'm happy enough with the size of my boobs, and no need for the male enhancements or... stiffeners. ;)

Welcome!
We have a bunch of scifi and fantasy writers around here. Feel free to ask questions and sift through all the threads. They are chock full of helpful info.

Hello!

I'm looking into getting into the field, and doing some research for a class series I'm taking soon for the business side of things. This forum seems very helpful. Thank you for having me!

The main genre I'd like to break into is sci-fi and fantasy, though I'm definitely open to others/genre-crossing in the future.

Favorite authors include Mercedes Lackey, Diana Wynne Jones, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, and many, many others.

I'm also interested in other kinds of arts, especially dancing, singing, and acting.
