Take a look at this book's page:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DMYPT94/

How does one go about putting together the From The Publisher section of this page or is this something only available to the big time trad-published authors?
I will not forget one line of this, not one day. I will always remember when the Doctor was me.

Wow! That is really something. It's like a billboard.

Have you tried Author Central? That's the only place where you might find it for us lowly indies.

I think, but I could be wrong as I've never really researched it, that you need to be registered as a brand and have a vendor account. Doing so gives you access to A+ content or enhanced brand something or other.

The more important question is, does it increase sales?

And another thing, when indies put "A Novel" on their cover or title, we apparently look like amateurs.  But a trad publisher slaps it on there and it's apparently okay.  I mean, otherwise people would surely think this is a nonfiction title detailing the effect of global warming-induced fires on the lion population and their lifestyle, right?  Who would have thunk it's actually a novel were it not clearly marked on the cover?

"A Novel" could also mean it's not a short story or a novella.

If I recall correctly, ImaWriter is correct about their being additional requirements. I think earlier discussions also indicated that you had to pay extra to get more control over your product page.

To know whether it increases sales or not, we'd have to have data comparing comparable books with and without--which of course we'll never get. Instinctively, I look at a page like that and think it probably doesn't hurt!

Darn! And I was thinking I'd have a fun weekend trying to come with a really eye-catching billboard for a couple of my titles. Oh well, guess I'll just spend the time writing.   grint
