Preorder wide advice

I'm wide and I want to submit my book for preorder to retailers other than Amazon. Amazon and B&N allows you to upload your manuscript 72 hrs before preorder date. That's a nice leeway. So, I submitted my book. Easy peasy.

But Draft2Digital asks for 10 business days. That's a very big difference amounting to like 15 days. So, my thought for Draft2Digital is to just plan a late release for a week after its released on Amazon & B&N. That way I might grab a few Apple preorders which can help for rank.

I hear concerns over Kobo for manuscrpit problems so I might not even place it on preorder there. Might just release on publish date.

Your thoughts? Any advice?

I only do preorders through Amazon, Google Play and Kobo (yes, the latter is more risky because you have to upload a manuscript, but I only ever put up preorders when a book is finished, polished and ready for my editor. So far, no issues.). No preorders through D2D (so no Apple or B&N). I let my readers know via my blog and social media that the book won't be on preorder anywhere other than the three I mentioned. So far, no one has complained.

Thanks, Eric.

I put the book on just Amazon and B&N today (I sell direct with B&N) because both ask for final manuscript only 72hrs before release. That's a comfortable window. The D2D & Smashwords 10 business day is too long and too tight. And Kobo & GooglePlay requires a manuscript which I don't have done yet. I might also throw the book on preorder everywhere else one week before launch when I have a completed book.
