Using double-in or CAPTCHA for newsletter sign ups
« on: May 01, 2022, 04:33:28 AM »
Just checking a consensus here. Do you double opt-in and/or use CAPTCHA for sign ups? Past consensus on the web appears to be yes. I've been doing this for a while now but I'm wondering if I'm losing any people from all the steps.

Confirmed opt-in, yes.

I'd really only use CAPTCHA if you have a problem or your list service provider wants it.

PIA? Yes.  Improved confidence in the security? Also, yes.
