An AMS question
« on: July 10, 2023, 03:01:32 PM »
All the videos, tutorials, etc, say that it takes a while to get an AMS ad truly up and running with the algo's kicked in. I'm in the throes of redesigning a book cover. If I start an AMS campaign now, the cover should be ready by the time the campaign hits its stride. But will changing the cover then make the advert revert back and start from scratch?

Thanks.

That's an interesting question.

I checked an old ad for a book I changed covers on, but it never seems to have done much. The one thing I can confirm is that the ad will reflect the cover change--I wasn't sure that would be the case. It didn't seem to drop in impressions following the change, but there haven't been any sales, either. However, both did better in the beginning, and I have noticed that AMS ads often work that way, so really that isn't evidence applicable to your question either way.
