Paranormal Romance Blog Tour 2018 Oct. 22-26: Up and Running!

So, in spite of the last few days, I was planning on getting the 4th Annual Paranormal Romance Blog Tour thread started. I'm going to keep it simple.

• Authors signing up will be assigned a day and have one featured book.
• Each author will be interviewed by me, and have a featured book on a specific day. I will post their interview on my blog, which will be the hub for the blog tour.
• If you'd like to do an optional blog post on your blog/website to get traffic to come to your site, you can do an additional blog post by blogging about behind the scenes for your featured book or other post ideas. If you have ??s, just ask.

I have cut out the book review swap between authors, because it just has seemed confusing to everyone. If however, you'd like to review one of the featured books for an optional blog post for the tour, let me know. I'll link you up with one of the other authors to get a review copy.

SO, I guess it is also not a secret that I ran the Back to School Tour that just happened last week. So, Marilyn Vix is my romance pen name. And I have to say, the Back to School Blog Tour went fantastically well this year. SO, I have high hopes for the paranormal romance blog tour. Spread the word about his blog tour.

So, here is what I would need from each participating author:

***I'll be posting updates on author sign-ups to the thread. I've got 10 slots open (2 authors a day), and they go fast. In past years, this has done really well as an event since it is tied to Halloween.

Thus, this gives us a few weeks to read each others books. Plus, there are only about 5-6 interview questions. I will send those to you when you sign up. You can email me or PM the answers. Then, I'll put together the interview and post it on my blog.

I want to do giveaways separately this year, and have a list of giveaways and discounts. This went well for the Back to School Blog Tour. All you'll need to do is set up the giveaway, ie rafflecopter or some other host site, and send me the link.
It can be posted on everyone's website. If I have people interested in giving away their book, I can add their books to the giveaway. I'd just need a pic of the cover. Plus, putting your book on sale is NOT REQUIRED. But if you'd like to offer your featured book for a discount, I will totally mention it on your featured day and in the wrap up on Friday.

So, that's about it. No, I don't charge for this, but first come, first sign up basis for the tour. If you'd like to do this, plus get to read another author's paranormal romance to review, please let me know.

No, I got caught up in my Halloween series.  It's not really paranormal, but they do inherit a mansion filled with secret rooms and their ancestors may be witches...would you consider that paranormal?  I'm thinking more chick lit with magical elements.

If there is romance, I think I can squeeze you in. Sounds like a magical mystery with witches tie-in. I'm guessing chick-lit style romance? Paranormal twist? It does sound interesting. Please send me a PM with info.

And yes, I combined my children's book and Marilyn Vix's accounts together. I might have to separate again I guess. But I thought I'd just move over with one account for now. The whole KB implosion has had unfortunate timing. I've had a children's book release and October is huge for my paranormal romances. I've been sad about everything that has happened the last couple of weeks.

But  is giving me hope.

So, I've started putting together rough drafts for the interviews. I'm almost done with Parker's.
Just some heads ups:

I'm going to be listing any discounts or giveaways for an author's book during your feature day. I think that will get people to come back each day for goodies for each other as opposed to having a master list the first day. So, if you haven't done one, you still have time.

A lot of us use rafflecopter.com for giveaways. If you need help with that, let me know.

Sending me the answers to interview questions as a PM is working. Plus, I can use an optional author bio pic for each author. I think it would work as an attachment in a PM. If not, send me PM for email address.

If it is easier to email everything, send me a PM and I'll give you my email address. I don't want to post my email address here.

We're looking good for the tour, and I'm excited about it starting next week.

Marilyn, Tuesday was a great day and we got up to #4 in Free Holiday books so thank you!!!

I realized last night this is my last free KU day for my book until after Christmas and I always have one FREE day where everything is free for my social media followers during the holidays...so this is it.  Thanks again and I hope people enjoy our Halloween book and try my other ones!

You're very welcome. I think it was a pretty successful tour. The moving to this board to organize it all has helped to keep my annual promo going. Thank goodness we had a safe and secure place to get all the info organized. I just don't trust KB anymore.

I've also posted the last post with a recap of all the book giveaways and discounts going on with the featured books.

  And I want to thank all the participating authors and everyone that helped spread the word. With all the Zon changes too in recategorizing, I've lost the ability to advertise my spicy paranormal on AMS too. So, I've had a double blow during one of my biggest sale months. But, you know, Indies just pick themselves up and keep going. So, this promo helped keep some stats happening. And we can build the community again. Doing promos like this will help do that.
