AuthorLab packages, especially formatting?

Anyone used the AuthorLab package? It's on really-reduced special and among the many tools they have a book formatting one. Has anyone used it? Pros? Cons?

Right now, I'm doing my formatting manually but if the formatter's worth it... that'd be a few days of my life back every release.
