"Technical Note" "The Science Behind" or Something Else?

After writing Yesterday's Thief, I wrote a short (5K-word) companion book that talks about the science behind the things in the book (e.g. hover boards, earthquake prediction, time travel, etc.).

I'm thinking I will publish that as a permafree, with the aim of gaining some more interest in Yesterday's Thief (also permafree). Good idea or no?

I've given it to my subscribers as Yesterday's Thief Technical Notes, but I'd like to brainstorm other titles. The Science Behind Yesterday's Thief?

Al, if you like the title I suggested, you might want to add a subtitle just to make it clear it's nonfiction.  Maybe something like Yesterday's Thief, Tomorrow's Science: The Real-Life Possibilities of Eric Beckman's World.

I was going to suggest using a subtitle earlier but Yesterday's Thief, Tomorrow's Science: The Science Behind Yesterday's Thief was kind of awkward.  I like your suggestion much better.  Yesterday's Thief, Tomorrow's Science is too good a title to pass up.

I'd reduce "thief" to the same size as the rest of the title.  Make all four words uniform.

I'm unsure about the comma.  Seeing the comma highlights the fact that foot-marks are being used in place of apostrophes on "Yesterday's" and "Tomorrow's."
