I think I've given up on more shows lately than I can ever remember. Must have something to do with the extreme level of choice currently available.
Currently enjoying and waiting for new seasons of: Bosch (Amazon), Mindhunter (Netflix), Big Little Lies (HBO), Black Mirror (Netflix)
Recently tried, and gave up on:
The Good Cop (Netflix)
Jack Ryan (Netflix)
Atypical (Netflix)
The Man in the High Castle (Amazon)
River (Netflix)
Luther (Netflix)
Breaking Bad (Netflix)
Westworld Season 2 (HBO)
Jessica Jones Season 2 (Netflix)
Hinterland (Netflix)
Broadchurch (Netflix)
Dark (Netflix)
Wallander (Netflix)
Gray's Anatomy (Netflix)
The first season of 'The Handmaid's Tale' was okay, don't think I'll be looking to see S2, however. Liked the first season of 'Stranger Things', but really disliked Season 2, don't know if I'll bother with S3.
The last couple of seasons of 'House of Cards' have been 'meh', but I'm interested in seeing what they do sans Spacey.
Haven't been enjoying 'Game of Thrones' since S4, but I'm caught up and waiting for S8 because at this point I'm pot-committed. Gave up on 'The Walking Dead' shortly after Negan came on the scene.
Might give another chance to: Altered Carbon (Netflix), The Americans (iTunes)(made it to S3 and liked it, but got too expensive to keep streaming - it's a hard show to keep up with in Canada outside of an over-priced cable package which is frustrating).
Don't know if there's plans to make any more, but I also quite enjoyed a Netflix series called 'Godless'. Haven't caught up with 'Sharp Objects' yet, but might give that a go. Really enjoyed streaming all of 'The Good Wife' as well. I wish they'd bring back 'Justified'.
Man...I watch a lot of TV.
