I want to run some ads through Bookbub when I launch, but I'm not really sure what the best strategy is and I certainly don't have the money to just throw it around willy-nilly and hope it sticks.
There are a lot of options here that are making my head spin so some advice would be greatly appreciated.
What's a good starting budget?
How long should I run it?
Spread or fill fast?
CPM or CPC?
ALSO: Should I launch at 99c for the Bookbub crowd that expects discounts, or should I go ahead with the full price of $3.99 I've decided on?

Whatever else you decide, I'd stick with 99c
I've had no luck with higher-priced titles on BB ads.
I only use CPC, which helps me to control the spend better.
Can't speak to your budget - I've tried varying daily amounts, and sometimes they don't even show the ad, no matter how high I bid.
