Could a seller have one account say in the EU and one in America? Each having their own separate bank account? Of course separate pen names etc
-
No, you cannot do that. However, you can have more than the three prescribed author central accounts. You need to create a different Amazon account just for your 4th, 5th, and 6th pen names. You may need to do this if you want to promote your six author central links across the web.

I'm pretty sure you can have different bank accounts for earnings through different sites (so you could send your EU earnings to one bank account and your US earnings to another), but I don't believe there's an option for it based on pen name.
Unless it's a new feature, I'm pretty sure it's meaningless to have a KDP account 'in the EU' - via the KDP.com website (i.e. the American version and the only one I know of) you can distribute to all Amazon sites, or pick and choose (on a book by book basis.) I've never before heard any reference to an EU based KDP site.

Two personal accounts is a no-no. I have a personal account I publish my own work under with my ss# & personal banking info, and a second under my LLC with the EIN and business bank account. I talked to KDP on how to do it years ago and was told as long as it is a legal entity, it is permitted. I've never had an issue with it.
As in all things with Amazon reps giving us info, it's best to call & talk to them yourself and explain your particular situation. God knows they love to contradict themselves, and then we're all sitting around here like, "my rep said this," and "well, my rep said the opposite," haha. :icon_mrgreen:

Sound advice from everyone, thank you. Would it be different if one account was under my name and the other under my partners? Will email them on all of this and report back.

I'm pretty sure that it's a separate account per tax ID number, not a separate account per address, so you should be fine.
