"I price my ebooks at $1.73 just to screw with people."
-
My most quotable friend always said this:
"Always tell the truth. Unless it's too dull."
-
This small town newspaper motto grabbed my attention.
"We tell the truth. Only not so much of it."
-
This is the slogan for another small town paper:
"Tell the truth and run like hell."
-
The first one sounds like The Times.
And that 2nd one takes the cake.
-
From the peerless Dorothy Parker:
I hate writing, I love having written.
-
I don't remember who it was but when asked why she wrote she replied.
I have six kids. The only way I can get anyone to listen to me is to write them.
-
I don't know who said this, but I've always liked it: 'A writer is like a vending machine. You put money in; words come out."
