I need some help. It'll cost $0.99. Let me explain.
Many of you know that I'm writing a program that assists members of writers' and book readers' discussion forums such as WS. The program fetches lists of books from Amazon and compiles selections from the list into a cryptic language called BBCode for the members' "signatures." I had to sign up with Amazon's developers' system as an associate aka an affiliate. Up to now all has gone well. But last week, they sent an email. If nobody has linked from my website and bought anything, they will revoke my access, upon which I'll have to abandon the project.
The project is pro bono. I'm using it to learn the latest web development tools and to help non-tech writers and others who have difficulty with BBCode.
I need a few folks to buy something in the next week by linking from my website. I've lowered the price on my diabetics' e-book to the minimum--$.99--and am asking you to click the link below, click the Amazon button, and buy the e-book. If enough people do that, Amazon might sanction my creds, and I'll be able to finish this project.
I posted this message on FB and made one sale. And that was to my daughter who already had a copy.
I will donate all royalties from this book over the next month to the local food bank or to the homeless vet with the cardboard sign at the I-95 interchange.
