Title: Help recall character series

I'm having trouble recalling a series character name.
The name "Mark Bolan" persists in my mind, but it just doesn't Google.
It was a paperback series, probably in the 60s or 70s.
The character was like the Death Wish movie character who goes around taking on the bad guys, like the mob, etc.
Seems like the series had a one word title.

OK I found it.
"Mack" Bolan was the character in the Executioner series written by Don Pendleton.
