I haven't made up my mind yet which one I like better. I have had both. For now I'll have one or the other. Since its so easy to stop and start via amazon prime channels. I think Acorn has more stuff overall, lots of it older though,  but then I like some of the more modern international mystery series that Britbox has.

So no help really from me.  grint

I also like MHz, nice international stuff. Subtitles of lots of course.

I'd had Acorn for a while when BritBox came along. I didn't want to change or even add it on to try it since I don't watch that much TV anymore. Between Starz, Prime, Netflix, Hulu and Acorn, I have plenty to watch.
