I did a little research last night, into Kindle Short Reads and I saw that all the timed categories are flooded with long novels. I looked at the 15-Minute category and almost every title there is 300+ pages. What the hell is Amazon doing?

One of the algorithms broke. I'm sure that's not a conscious choice, and I doubt the categorization is handled by a human being.

I think they are playing around again and broke it, as Bill says.
Also boughts have gone again (for me) and replaced with "recommendations" (they clearly want to get rid of also boughts by the looks of things, a real shame if they do). Some pages have no sponsored ads on show. I was in the music category a couple of hours ago and the first page was showing all romance novels ... something is definitely going on.

I have a preorder with a placeholder file that's #1 in some short reads category. It's ... well... if I don't look at it, it doesn't bother me.

I have the recommendations instead of the also boughts now too. All this messing around might explain why my sales are stinko today. I hope so. My impressions on AMS are 1/2 of what they were yesterday.

A lot of the short read titles are showing store-front pages of 4, 10, 3, 12--you open one and it's a regular full-length book. Definitely a glitch.
