I was checking some Amazon ads campaigns this morning and saw there were bids for clicks for one of them that hit $4.62 at the high end. I was wondering what people have seen as the highest bids ever for some specific target. Just curious.

BTW, one of my campaigns is turning a "one-click equals one buy". Never had that before. Must have found the perfect audience in that campaign.

Well Congratulations on that. I think the highest suggest bid I've seen is like $1.62.

Todays highest bid price for a click target item was $5.21. Definitely out of my realm. interestingly, the item sells for $2.99 and is in KU. I'm unclear on the mentality behind a bid like that.

The bidder might be trying to get added to the also-boughts of the target so they get free exposure by Amazon on its product page. Maybe?
The single best discussion of Amazon ads that I've found is this Facebook Group:

You could join and ask there. This is the type of question that they might chew on.
