I noticed in the last couple of weeks that my two perma-frees are no longer perma-free at Amazon.
Oh, sure, they're perma-free everywhere else, but Amazon quietly removed the "0.00" as the price on these two stories, and restored the list price.
I'm guessing that it's a result of the news story that I saw saying that Amazon would no longer dictate seller's prices.
Have any of you noticed this?

Nope. I recently had them set a title free that shouldn't have even been listed as free. (A short story in an eight-story collection was free. They put the whole collection free.)

Permafree books on Amazon sometimes revert back to paid for reasons unknown. If you still want the book to be free, then I suggest contacting KDP and asking them to price-match it again.
-
Well that does not bode well. I agree with Jeff, you have to contact them directly. Good luck.

Jeff is right. It just happens randomly and has been going on for a long time.
Instead of my .com permafree reverting to list price, all of them have reverted to list price internationally. So I'll also be contacting Zon.
