I was perusing eBay and, on a whim, searched for ebooks. Lo and behold, they got 'em!
Does anyone here have experience selling through eBay? Do you mind sharing that experience?

How does eBay work theses days?
Been a long time since I listed anything on there, and back then, you paid a fee for listing for a period, after which it had to be renewed. Which would make eBook sales problematical in terms of recurring costs of listing.
Or has things changed since then?

I only know that people were trying to sell pirated books that way. They get reported and taken down, but they show up again.

Sometimes Ebay has a 'list up to 10 items free' deal, as long as they have 99c starting prices. I don't know these days because I unsubbed to their marketing emails and updates years ago.

Lots of CDs or DVD-ROMs with hundreds of ebooks each pirated by the bottom-feeders. Like most piracy, not worth worrying about.

I have actually sold signed copies of my other pen names on Ebay. I did well awhile ago, but it's slowed down now. So, I only sold author signed copies myself. I have noticed just regular retailers and booksellers selling off copies of my books too. But you know, they can if they want. Just another retailing option for people. I really didn't think it was pirates. Just people selling books.

Years ago, there was a KB member selling CDs of her ebooks on ebay. I don't think she did very well with it if I'm remembering correctly. Long time ago.
