Title: Facebook question for the semi-experts ...
Post by: The Bass Bagwhan on May 17, 2019, 09:33:46 AM
Hey folks, whenever I post on my personal FB page material I want to Share on my author's page, I can't because of "Privacy Settings" blocking my author's page. I've looked and looked, and I can't for the life of me figure out what Privacy Setting is preventing me from Sharing my own post to my own page!

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Have you linked the page to the group? That helps.

Is the group private or secret?

Thanks Tim, it's not a group or anything. It's my author's "business" page, which is simply a sibling of my personal page. You know, "Create a business page" from your personal page. Had it for years, so I can't figure out why it's suddenly doing this.

Cheers!

Daft question, but what's the privacy setting on the post you want to share? All my personal Facebook stuff is automatically set to friends only, so I wouldn't be able to share it without changing the privacy on the actual post.

I do share public posts, from other pages, on my author page and always have to check who I am interacting as, too, as I use a pen name.
