I am at KDP Reports dashboard for my account and there is no link to AMS on it. Is this just me? I am currently stuck in WTF mode. :tap
ETA: I also have the new Beta report which I may like if I ever figure out how to get to AMS. 🙄

If you're at your KDP Reports page, all the way to the right, it should say Ad Campaigns. Click on that and there will be a link to take you to your ads dashboard.

It should, but it doesn't. I emailed KDP about it and just received this.

I'm sorry for any frustration this issue has caused.
I'll need a little time to look into why the ads report is not showing on KDP reports after 'Prior Months' Royalties' tab. I've reached out to our Technical team to investigate this issue. I'll contact you with more information on or before Monday, October 07.

I actually never used that link on the KDP dash to get to AMS until this morning, when you guys pointed it out.

and log in that way? That's how I've always done it. This is the US site, there is one for the UK that has UK stuck in there somewhere, but since I never got accepted to AMS UK I've forgotten it.

By habit, I check it when I am checking other things at KDP. Yes, you can go through another site but shouldn't have to.
So it is there for you.
It is a weird glitch. I am starting to assume that it is just me which doesn't really make me feel special.
ETA: I wonder if it has to do with that I have the KDP Report Beta. They may be going to force us to use the direct link which I would find annoying.

I have access to Beta but I open beta from the regular reports page. The AMS link is on the reports page, I didn't look for it on the beta page.

It isn't on either of my regular report page or my Beta page as the email from KDP indicated. Baffling. I never did get around to checking my ad stats I was so annoyed at it not being where it was supposed to be although I am aware you can go through another link.

Yup, first tab "Sales Dashboard" six more tabs then "Ad Campaigns"

It's not just you. Though my AMS tab is there right now, I've had it disappear before. The first time this happened, I freaked out, found and bookmarked the other link to the direct AMS site, and the next day the tab was back. It hasn't happened in a while, though. I also have the KDP Report Beta, for what it's worth.

What I have noticed is that using AMS is excruciatingly slow sometimes lately. Tear your hair out slow. Like right now for instance.

The tab is back now on mine. Totally weird. Rosie, I definitely freaked as well. Never had this happen before. Maybe Amazon is just experimenting to see if it makes us freak out to 'disappear' it.

It was gone for me all of yesterday.
It's back today.
Some people reported that they've added the possibility to advertise to the UK and German market. So, they're probably testing and updating, hence it might disappear for a while.

It disappeared for me, too, but I have the page bookmarked so hadn't noticed. Back now, although the system is unbelievably slow right now.
Oh, and super interested if they're opening up UK and Germany to AMS ads. Grin

But there already is an AMS UK program, isn't there? I've tried to get into it and failed, multiple times. Is this something different? I don't have German translations of my books so I don't know about that. Maybe a lot of people in Germany read books in English?

So far you needed an Advantage account to advertise in the UK, but apparently you'll be able to target the UK now with the Amazon Ads dashboard from within KDP.
Not sure about Germany and how much they read English books. Time will tell.
That's if they actually open up the UK and DE market to all of us. I'm quite excited to hear of this development though.

I pretty regularly sell a book or two in Germany where a lot of people are fluent in English. Wish I could afford a German translation but it is just out of my budget. Would love to see AMS ads in Europe.

Has anyone managed a DE advert yet? It's still nagging me about payment method.
I'm just hoping they add CA and AU soon.
