NOWHERE! But... I wasn't here. Does that make sense? No, of course it doesn't. Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.
Humperdink is set to marry Buttercup in a little less than half an---
Sorry, wrong script.
Hello fellow WSers. I disappeared for about a year because depression, writing, not writing, and lots of life events got in the way of my forum time. But I'm back! (More or less.) I finally finished books 4 and 5 in my Victoria Marmot series, and for the first time in months I feel like I have the bandwidth for this lovely place again. I'm sure most of you probably had no idea I was gone, but for the three people who actually enjoyed my antics when I was here... HELLO! My name is Iñigo Montoya you killed my---. Nope, sorry.
Ahem. I mean, hello! I'm back. It's good to see you all.

Welcome back!! grint
Watch out for the six fingered man... I'm pretty sure he hangs out around here somewhere. :tap

Hey!
Welcome back :D
-
Good to see you back!
I think writers might be predisposed to depression (or maybe it's the other way around?) Either way, here's to productivity and success.
-
Welcome back. :cheers
-
Welcome back!

Welcome back - yes, you can always rely on life events happening when you least expect them.
-
So glad to see you back here. I have always followed your thoughts and insights but ever since I’ve switched from WC to here I’ve never been too sure about where some authors are/were posting. But never the less, welcome back!
-
Welcome back. Sorry to hear about the depression. Stay strong.

What about the R.O.U.S.s?

I thought you were off making a movie?
Oh wait, that’s John Mcclain.
You two look so alike. :hehe

Welcome back and congratulations on climbing out of the Pit of Despair. Anybody have a peanut?

Welcome back! Sorry to hear about the life stuff - depression is a bitch.
Congratulations on finishing the books!
-
Welcome back! I'm sorry life has been overly challenging. Writing does have a way of cheering one up, no? :cheers Onward!

They hide from me. Something about not wanting to become a pet.

Welcome back! And congratulations!

Then I will say to him, "Hello. My name is Iñigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die."

Hey!
Welcome back :D
Thanks, Ashley! Good to see you!

Could well be. We are exceptionally good at living in our own heads, so... yeah. Meanwhile, I discovered that I had been managing my depression for years via exercise, and didn't know it, because I'd never really stopped exercising for long periods of time until this past winter, so I'd never had enough symptoms to be diagnosable. And then, whoo boy, did I find out what exercise was doing for me when I stopped last winter. Anyway, I'm back to running a few days a week and that (plus periodic counseling visits) seems to keep things under control.

Welcome back. :cheers
Thanks, Jeff!

Welcome back!
Thanks, Michelle!

Certainly! And life events is so vague that they must happen near constantly, but in this case they were of the "big sad thing" variety.

Aww... thank you!

Thank you! I have it under control for the moment. I am fortunate that for now it is manageable with exercise and counseling.

I get that a lot. Could be my tendency to walk barefoot through glass.

Thank you! No more rhyming, I mean it!

Thank you! Yes, depression is a bitch. And thanks again! Finishing books always feels so good.

Yes, writing is my go to mood lifter after exercise. Thank you for the welcome!

Rodents of unusual size? I don't believe they exist.

ROUSs are not chihuahuas, IDKY. How many times do we have to talk about this?

Welcome back! And congratulations!
Thank you x 2! It feels good to finish projects again. :-) Even if my whole rapid release plan went right out the window.

Life events can be terrible -- I got hit by a doozy (doozie?) of one at the end of October. Congrats on getting yourself back on track. I had to chortle when I first saw you posting way back when, because one of the MCs in my first series is called Virginia McClain. She's awesome, and I'm sure you are, too.

You named a character after me? ;-) Glad she's awesome. One of us should be.
Yeah, life events just keep coming these days, but we're muddling through. I managed to get all my books out on time, and my in person book launch went well, as did the Con I attended in mid November. Also, my first book is a finalist in SPFBO5 so I'm feeling pretty good about all things writing related at the moment.
Just wish there was something I could do about my parents' health. *sighs*

I had actually created her well before I joined this forum, so no, but you're both still awesome. Glad things are looking up for you.

Thanks! I haven't been good about checking the forum lately, but it's good to be more or less back. :-)
