Title: Google advertising--Any takers?

Has anyone here tried Google advertising? I did some past research and many complain it's not focused enough (the ads approach too broad an audience). But it certainly is a low traffic market. I just received an email from Booksends offering advertising my book there for a $fee.

The rumor I heard a while back is that Google Ads are expensive and ineffective. If you don't think they're expensive, it might be worth a try. You could discover gold.

Thanks, but I was referring to Google ads, not Google Play (they should name it something different, right?). There was a promotion running for ads, but now it's closed at the moment

This was my experience.
