Title: Can anyone find this Gandhi quote?

It goes something like this:

“Religion has been responsible for some of the most brutal [or violent or something] acts. But that is not the fault of religion but due to the nature of man.”

I kept googling variations but I can’t find this quote. I need to know exactly how it goes. Does anyone know this quote and if so, can you please quote it accurately?

Or does anyone have any special google fu that they can find it? Thanks!
