A report on the BBC says Amazon has donated £250,000 to a fund in aid of book stores hit by the coronavirus outbreak.

I hate to say this, but only 250K? Amazon is worth billions. They could do a little more. Just saying. Because one thing Amazon really lacks is community. Indie bookstores work more with the locals, and build a place for people to read and enjoy books together. I think we're finding the need for that right now while were isolated away. We all need the interaction that bookstores, coffee shops, theaters and schools give us.
