My audiobooks are with Findaway Voices, which distributes them to Playster, a storefront that advertises to subscribers "Unlimited Audiobooks, Get access to 100,000+ premium titles for just $14.95 per month."
One of my audiobooks (almost eight hours long) recently sold on Playster who paid me a 2¢ royalty for it.
I've had a very good experience with Findaway so far, but that they let their customer, Playster, do this, is concerning. It sure doesn't help Findaway's reputation that they let themselves be a conduit for a company like Playster to get access to authors' content to do this kind of thing. I complained to Findaway and they basically said "read the contract."

I suppose I should read the contract, but does Playster work on sort of a KU model and pays for how much the person listens to? That's the only way I can imagine such a thing happening.
In the past, I've gotten fairly decent money from Playster, though the royalties seem to be all over the place. If I recall correctly, D2D stopped distributing to Playster. I'd heard Playster was dying.
