Thought I ran off mad? Nope spent my 75th birthday in a hospital. Got out about 10 days ago and struggling to get my strength back. What? An author with a bleeding ulcer? Impossible. Take it easy people, drink milk or something.
-
Sorry, Marti. You must be glad to be home. Take care of yourself.
-
It's good that you caught the condition in time and it's better that you're home.
Do you have visiting therapists?
-
Yes, lots of help and physical muscle building. Hard work, tired, but the more I make myself do the better I will feel.
-
Welcome back, Marti. Hope your strength increases by leaps and bounds.

:smilie_zauber: Recovery magic dust.
-
Love that, Thanks!

When I was semi-out of it, my daughter said my fingers moved like I was typing. I swear I finished three novels during that time, but I couldn't find that darn SAVE button.

Welcome back. I'm glad youre feeling better and back here for all the drama.

Oh yeah, it's like those dreams you have that would make such a good book but then you wake up and can't remember the parts that make them make sense.

The OT's and PTs are miracle workers, for sure. :banana-riding-llama-smiley-em

Sorry to hear that, Marti. Sounds like you're on the road to recovery, though, so I'm glad to hear that. I hope you get back to normal soon.

I'll see your dust and raise you some healing snot.
:Healing:
The snot comes from an emoticon with no nose. That's how you know it's the good stuff. /science

It's like immaculate snot.

The thing is, I left the world in your hands and six weeks later, none of the problems got solved. Who's running this world anyway?
-
Not I. I am a remote observer of the madness. :shrug :dizzy

Glad to see your back. Stay well!
-
Thanks everyone. I'm kind of lost having lost track of my promotions etc. It's taking time to catch up.
-
Glad you're on the road to recovery.
Human society is very odd at present - it's much better to be viewing it from home than from a hospital bed.
Here's to another 25 years of writing (at least) - you might find the corner of your mind where you saved all those novels. :D
-
Welcome back, Marti. Glad to hear you're recovering!
-
Thanks. I'm far behind in the political scene but I miss the fun. I'll have to catch up.

:hehe I believe its name is covid :P
-
I'm afraid you might be right!
-
Hope and pray your recovery goes well.
