I just tried to upload two new titles to Smashwords and when I chose my categories, I suddenly had a form pop up telling me that the book is classified as erotica and asking me to check off some boxes regarding sensitive content.
However, I don't write erotica. The books in question are science fiction and I chose science fiction categories. There's also no erotic content in them.
Smashwords also wouldn't let me publish the books unless I clicked the bloody "I'm not publishing potentially problematic erotica" checkboxes, even though I'm not publishing erotica at all.
Has this happened to anybody else? Is this a new feature? Or a glitch?

I published a mystery novel there a couple of weeks ago and that definitely didn't happen. It sounds like a glitch to me.

I got an answer from Smashwords tech support and apparently, it was a glitch, which has been fixed by now.
