I switched to Firefox because it kept crashing in Edge and it is still crashing. :HB

The entire Amazon website ecology has grown so complex, and more than a bit haphazardly, that it's living proof of Scotty's famous dictum.

I found Chrome and patience work best. I wait for the loading to say "process complete' for both the cover and the content before I invoke the previewer. Then I check the news, re-read what I wrote recently, or spend time in contemplation. However long it takes, check the tab occasionally until the previewer appears. I wait and it no longer crashes.
Cheers,

I got through it but if I find another error in that file before the release there's going to be some heavy drinking.

I have never had it crash. Tend to wait a really long time before viewing. I'll do something else and comeback to it. I use Microsoft edge.

Ah, technology. I feel your pain.
I have a Kindle Previewer downloaded onto my laptop and check my files there before I upload to Amazon - could that be an option for you?
It gets updated from time to time, so I think this is still supported by KDP.

Everyday is something new!

Thanks. I'll think about it. I actually did another file end of last week in Edge and it worked okay. I'm not sure my poor little laptop can take anymore stress. I was just stunned because usually Firefox is fine. Of course Firefox wants me to install the update so...
