blah blah, secret secret.
They're only offering case laminate. A 300pg 6x9 with B&W interior is south of $10--two bucks better than LSI/IS.

When I first saw the email, I had hoped it would be for bookstore quality paperbacks. That would be much more useful.
I'm already doing hardbacks elsewhere, so I didn't bother to sign up. If the price is better, though, it could be worth doing.

Here are the reasons I think as long as the quality is as good, KDP might be better:
1> lower per-unit price at from KDP.
2> better shipping rates with tracking.
3> no "handling" or "processing" fees.
4> no setup fee (although I've never actually paid this via coupons).
5> If KDP offers an ISBN, that could be a major plus as well.

I opted out because of case laminate. I want the dust cover for hardbacks. However, for some genres I think a laminate could work well.
