The Gabby saga is bringing awareness of the need for a website that highlights missing people. I would do it myself, but I'm old and probably wouldn't be able to keep it going long enough. The thing is, a website where people could post something about their missing person when they first go missing could attract lots of attention, and also be a great place for the author to promote their books. If the new posts could be shared with places like Facebook, etc., word would get out faster.
Your thoughts?

You mean like this site?
https://www.missingpersonsofamerica.com/
But, I don't see how something like that would be a place to promote books unless you write non-fiction on missing persons cases.
The downside I can see is that people aren't likely to visit the site unless someone they know goes missing and they want to get the word out.

Yeah, a TV channel would be better.
