Title: bookfunnel

Anybody using Book Funnel for promotions? I just watched a KDP seminar where the author mentioned using it regularly for book swaps with other authors. Sarina Bowen is the author and said she has over 79,000 (might have that wrong) on her mailing list. Personally, I have never recommended someone else's book to my email list, nor have I figured out what to say to my mailing list or a blog except when I put out a new book.

Anyway, I read what Book Funnel offers, but it doesn't seem useful. What am I missing?  https://bookfunnel.com/

I use book funnel all the time for promos and newsletter builders. The promos are more effective than the nl builders but they both result in sales for a small amount of work.

Bookfunnel helps with newsletter building, extra sales, or reviews. Interestingly, I joined thinking I could use it to offer ARC reviews, but promotions for reviews is largely dead. I've never ran a review promo with them. So I use them mainly for author-sales promos. I run a monthly ad of sorts on my newsletter about similar authors writing books like my own. The challenge is to rotate sponsors because, otherwise, the same readers are looking at the same books.

"79,000"  :icon_eek: That's expensive. Once you get over 2k subscribers it gets pricey.

I used to use StoryOrigin but they cost money now. I've set up an account at Prolific Works but it's pretty quiet--there's only a handful of promos per month. Of the available services out there, Bookfunnel's the best, imo.

Oh, so it's mostly an email service. Thanks, I couldn't figure that out. I don't think that's for me because I write books without profanity and sex scenes, so it's hard to find writers to exchange promotions with. Thanks for taking the time to explain it. I appreciate not having to sort through yet another site trying to figure out what it's about. I get all hung up on terms I'm not familiar with.

Some sites, including AMAZON, could use a good writer!

I write sweet clean too Marti. There are tons of promos on book funnel for clean reader.  Last month i was in 4 clean promos and 2 generic romance promos. There are also several promo groups on fb just for clean authors to do swaps and promote eachother.
