Title: Hello and Happy New Year from a new poster
Post by: maryrrf on January 01, 2022, 09:15:33 AM: Hi, this is my first post, but I lurked for a long time on the old Kindle Writer's Café. I signed up here quite some time ago but lost track of the site and recently found it again. I have been dabbling at writing for a long time, but never succeeded in finishing anything except some short stories. Now that i'm retired I have managed to get myself on a writing schedule and I have completed two novels of a planned historical trilogy (Viking age) and two small town sweet romance novels, which I hope to make into a five book series. I still need to do a lot of editing, but it feels good to have made some progress. My goal is to publish at least one series in 2022. I learned a lot from lurking and am thankful to all the writers who contributed and shared their successes, tips, etc. I hope that as I gain some experience I can pass it on, and help others as well. Happy 2022!!!!

I have already learned a lot just by lurking and now that I am out of my "shell" maybe I can contribute something to the group. Breaking out of my writer's block and all the other things that have held me back has proven to be quite a journey. It's nice to have company!
