I just discovered one of my omnibus was listed under erotica at Amazon. It is defiantly not and when checking my keywords, no way could it have been accidental. I think I'm gonna be sick.

I sent a complaint to KDP contact. Hopefully, they'll fix it.

This happened to me once after I added a new keyword to a book. Make sure you're careful there and check this. They fixed the category after I called Amazon. Hope they fix yours soon.

They're fixing it. I need to start drinking. I'm too old to put up with all the nonsense.

That happened to me, as well. I thought I could just point out the error to them, give them the correct categories, and they would fix it. Not so. They want me to jump through some hoops and leap over some hurdles, then navigate a swamp, after which they will kindly consider changing the categories.
I may just wait a month or so, contact them again and hope I get a different rep. If not, I'm just going to leave it.

I've been thinking about that. Who at Amazon has the ability to change a category to erotica? Probably not many people, so I'm guessing it was an unhappy tech employee that changed a bunch of them. Could be a computer problem, the bots gone off a cliff?

I'm voting for computer glitch. Were you around when a lot books got dumped into the Christian category? That was a glitch. But I got a couple of bad reviews because of the miscategorization. It got changed back but it took awhile for those reviews to get buried (but not removed).

I don't remember that one. Mine have been fixed this morning, so all is well.
So if a computer glitch changed one category to erotica, then it probably is a glitch, but both of my categories were changed and my key words remained the same? Double glitch? And, if a glitch is caused by a computer, such as replacing historical romance with erotica, then wouldn't that category be changed for all books? I guess I'm too literal to understand how it works.
