Fun stuff to think about...if you want to engineer a story rather than write it.  Tho' I did meet a Hollywood scriptwriter (successful) who claimed to have a wheel on which we had written 15 sure-fire movie plots.  Each New Year's Day, he'd spin the wheel and where it stopped was the first plot he'd write.  Then he'd write around the wheel until he'd finished all 15 or another New Year's Day spin came due.
