Title: How often does Mailchimp update new subscribers?

I had no readers for two months and I was beginning to think that my sign up wasn't working on Mailchimp. Then all of a sudden today: forty-four. Is the list updated weekly and I had a sudden influx of new readers or is does it accumulate over months? Anyone know?
(Why is this important? It helps me track where my new readers are coming from.)

I usually get a monthly notification.  :shrug

I don't use MailChimp but I would think they would be the same as other list providers in that, if someone subscribes and confirms, they would be added instantly.  How often they send reports to you might vary, but the actual subscription should be right away.

Unless there was a glitch or some problem?

It's weird. I don't know if they were organic sign ups or from a reduced price book promotion I had last month. I check manually almost weekly and had crickets the longest time. At least now I know my signups are working.
