When did KU change to allow 20 books downloaded instead of 10?

Just had someone correct me on Quora.

Said it had been 20 in the US for quite some time now.

Anyone know when it changed and why?

Not why, but it was months ago.

To your question elsewhere, the daily newsletters to which I subscribe often have books on discount that I investigate and decide to read. So I buy or download them if I have KU. But then I go about my day as planned and maybe I don't get to those books for days or even weeks or sometimes never.

Not being a KU person, I hadn't noticed the change. It might produce marginal ranking boosts for us from users who can now download more of our books, though for people who keep most of their slots filled and only rotate one or two books, it won't make any difference.

It hadn't changed for me. Still get the message I already have ten books borrowed.
