Title: I feel the need, the need, for speed!!!!

Took longer than I wanted to get here, but I deliberately did it the way which ensured nothing was lost along the way.

And I think it was worth the wait. :icon_mrgreen:

Getting my full site off the previous host proved impossible. I still dont have a full backup from them I can use.

So I uploaded just the forum and reinstalled it from scratch.

The domain shift took a lot longer than I expected, mainly because I only found out this morning how to speed it up, and still dont know exactly where to find it.

Australia is not that bad. grint

It does have its moments though.

Actually, the new host and the old host are not all that far from each other in geographical terms. But the new one is using state of the art computers. And we share a server with a very few others.
